Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of SimpleStat. By creating an account, you agree to them.

The service

SimpleStat is a web analytics dashboard: you install a tracking snippet on your own website, and we show you visitor, conversion, and search performance statistics for it.

Your account and plan

Each account is on either the Starter or Growth plan, which determines how many websites you can add and how long your data is retained. Every plan includes a monthly visit allowance; once your account reaches it, new visits stop being recorded until the next month or until you raise your limit.

Your responsibilities

You're responsible for:

• Only installing the tracking snippet on websites you own or are authorized to track
• Complying with the privacy and data protection laws that apply to your website's visitors, including informing them about tracking where required
• Keeping your account credentials secure

Acceptable use

You may not use SimpleStat to track websites without authorization, to collect data unlawfully, or to attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorized access to the service.

Payment

Paid plans are billed monthly or yearly in advance through Stripe. New signups get a 7-day free trial before the first charge. You can cancel at any time from Account, cancelling stops future billing and your account moves back to the Starter plan at the end of the current billing period. If a payment fails, Stripe will automatically retry it; if it keeps failing, your account reverts to the Starter plan.

Data ownership and deletion

You own the data collected through your websites. You can delete a website (and all of its data) at any time from Settings. If you close your account, we delete your account data and all associated website data, subject to any legal retention obligations.

Availability

We aim to keep SimpleStat available and reliable, but the service is provided "as is" without guaranteed uptime. We're not liable for lost data or business losses resulting from downtime.

Changes to the service or these terms

We may update SimpleStat or these terms over time. Material changes to these terms will be communicated by email or an in-app notice before they take effect.

Termination

You can close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Any disputes will be submitted to the competent court in Breda, the Netherlands.
